Meet Victoria

Victoria Duhring (Herndon) is a fifth-generation Uvaldean raised in a family rooted in agriculture, local business, and community leadership. Growing up in Uvalde County, she learned what it means to work hard, keep your word, and take care of the people around you, and she gained firsthand respect for the families who make their living from the land.

Victoria grew up involved in agriculture and leadership programs, including FFA, 4-H, and UIL, where she built leadership skills and a strong sense of responsibility. She attended local public schools and began supporting herself at a young age while continuing her education in South Texas, including time working at H-E-B while earning her degree.

Her professional background includes work with the Nueces River Authority, where she helped educate communities across the river basin on groundwater conservation and natural resource protection. This experience gave her a practical understanding of water issues that directly affect Uvalde County’s future, and it strengthened her belief that responsible stewardship matters for the next generation.

Victoria went on to serve as Executive Director of the Uvalde Area Chamber of Commerce, partnering with local leaders and employers to grow opportunity, increase economic development, and support small businesses. During times of crisis, she was in the room helping organize people, coordinate efforts, and keep projects moving, including working with local officials and partners to help steady direction when the county faced major challenges.

Today, Victoria is a small business owner, public relations consultant, and mother of three who remains deeply involved in the community. She is running for Uvalde County Judge to bring steady leadership, clear priorities, and accountable government that reflects the values of the people who live and work here, and to protect the resources, industries, and heritage that make Uvalde County worth fighting for.

“If elected, I will lead with steadfast and uncompromised integrity for the betterment of
Uvalde County and our South Texas region.”

- Victoria Duhring
